Markham resident sadly dies after stabbing

A firefighter for only four years, Dominic Parker a husband and father of two was stabbed in the head while at a restaurant. There was no reported provocation on his part. He was in a coma after the incident and never regained consciousness. After roughly three days, he died. He was only forty-five years old.

Toronto resident Nabil Huruy has been accused of the heinous crime and has been charged with first degree murder, and two other crimes.

Daughter allegedly plots to have parents killed

The residents of Markham were shocked when a vicious home invasion turned deadly. Initially believed to be a random act of violence, further investigation now has shed a new light on the case.

Huei Hann Pan, his wife Bich Ha Pan and his daughter Jennifer Pan were all home when they were allegedly attacked by a small group of armed men. One of them demanded money from Mr Pan getting more agitated by the minute.

Subsequently Mr Pan was shot twice and survived, his wife was shot three times and sadly died and his daughter was left unharmed.

Police have now charged Jennifer Pan with first degree murder, attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder. In addition, they were also looking for the three men said to be involved in the crime. Police are not discussing the evidence or details that led them to this new conclusion.

To date, four men have been arrested and charged with first degree murder and attempted murder. All the defendants have entered pleas of not guilty.
