Oakville Pharmacy Robbed |
In less than an hour, an armed man attempted to rob two pharmacies in Oakville. Halton police are now investigating the incident that reportedly took place on the Friday before. Apparently, the robber approached a Bronte Creek Pharmacy at closing time and threatened the employee with a gun, forcing him/her to open the door. A struggle ensued which caught the attention of people nearby. After fleeing the area empty-handed, a suspect with a very similar description entered another pharmacy with an almost identical scenario. He brandished a firearm and demanded prescription drugs. This time he got what he wanted and fled the scene again. The drugs he stole, if used incorrectly can be fatal. Police are calling on the public for any help capturing the thief. |
